Munira is a Politician, Humanitarian, Entrepreneur, and Northern Activist. The Founder of Green Heart Impact Foundation where she works with young girls to provide access to quality education across Nigeria. Key projects include Noto-girlchild-hawking-in-Nigeria and #booksovertrays. In 2014, she ran for the same office against the majority leader of the state and finished second runner up. In 2019, she contested for same seat, which she allegedly won with her mandate stolen.

A graduate of Sociology from the University of Abuja, she also has a Diploma in Education Management from Bayero University with certificates in Leadership Communication, Women in Leadership and Managing Government Relations from Lagos Business School, and Harvard University.
